There are eight Uncle Bonsai compact discs available on Yellow Tail Records. In addition to the three original releases, A Lonely Grain of Corn (1984), Boys Want Sex in the Morning (1986), and Myn Ynd Wymyn (1988), we have released four other full CDs, The Inessential Uncle Bonsai (1992), Doug (1998), Plain Brown Wrapper (1999), Apology (2000), and a CD Single, Sponge Boy (1999). Lastly, there are limited copies available of The Complete Uncle Bonsai, a five-disc set featuring The Inessential Uncle Bonsai, Myny Ynd Wymyn, Plain Brown Wrapper, Doug, and Sponge Boy. The Inessential Uncle Bonsai:
A collection of "greatest hits" from the early years of Uncle Bonsai. This live recording features almost all of the songs, alternate live versions, from the "A Lonely Grain of Corn" and "Boys Want Sex in the Morning" releases. Myn and Wymyn:
The third "original" Uncle Bonsai release, Myn Ynd Wymyn showcases many of the songs that the group was recording at the "end." Recorded live in the studio, this was originally a cassette-only release and has been remastered for this CD. Doug:
Recorded live in 1998, this CD features Uncle Bonsai, Electric Bonsai Band, and Mel Cooleys, performing 13 of the "Doug" songs. A great collection of songs, this concert marked the first time Uncle Bonsai performed together in almost 10 year. Plain Brown Wrapper:
A collection of unreleased songs from the early years of Uncle Bonsai, this live recording features many of the "lost" songs from 1984 - 1989, in addition to some songs from the original Myn Ynd Wymyn cassette release. Apology:
Recorded live in the studio in 2000, "Apology" features 12 new songs, written for when the group starting performing again in 1999. Features the "Iowa" song, 4 new Doug songs, and more! A Lonely Grain of Corn:
Originally release in 1984, "A Lonely Grain of Corn" was the debut recording from Uncle Bonsai. This remastered-for-compact-disc release, was the only studio recording the group released and includes such favorites as "Suzy, " "Charlie and Me," and "Penis Envy." Boys Want Sex in the Morning:

Sponge Boy (CD Single):
What can we say about Sponge Boy? This CD Single features the third, and final, performance of a three minute song called Sponge Boy...of course, on this particular night, it took Uncle Bonsai almost 17 minutes to perform!
