NEW JOBS FOR AMERICA: THE LIVE RECORDING
Friday | May 18th - 8:00pm | THE TRIPLE DOOR| Seattle, Washington
Uncle Bonsai is especially excited about this "homecoming" Seattle concert. The group will be recording this show for inclusion in a brand new cd, "New Jobs For America." This recording will feature all sorts of new songs, many about jobs, along with all the songs that have come out since "The Grim Parade" was released. Songs like Stay In Bed, The Monster in the Closet, In The End, New Jobs For America, Go To Sleep . . . they'll all be on the upcoming release.
*As many of you know, each time the group comes back to a venue, they try to have a number of new songs including, most of the time, a new opening song. The group tends to write a series of songs that "go together" which means, quite often, some favorites have to be put aside to make room. Usually, the songs that aren't performed are ones that have been around for a while but, sometimes, there are songs that just don't fit with the brand new ones and, in addition to the "New Jobs For America" songs, we're bringing some of those back to perform and record.
Don't forget to visit the message boards for other concert listing information, set lists, requests, and discussion.
